To the Edge in 2013

I like this video...

Kinda makes ya want to go outside and do something.

People are awesome, and YOU are too.

Until next time,

I haven't blogged for a little while, so I thought I would give you a treat.

It's P. Tchaikovsky's Sugar Plum Fairy on the crystal harp and it's beautiful. I just love that song, as you may know, we are a big fan of fairies around this house.

Now there was a time in the great distant past where this would have reminded me of some kind of drinking game, something like quarters, I think they use ping pong balls now because I saw some at the seven eleven and they told me that's what they were for.

Those days are over (thank God).

Now I have the luxury of sitting at home blogging in my pajama's and making money doing it.

I have not made a lot, but I have made some, and that's a start and evidence enough for me that it works.

I like this platform too, because I'm getting pretty good results in Google, without even trying very hard.

This crystal harp stuff looks kind of fun, maybe I'll give it a go.

The blogging is fun and easy.

I have other ways of making money online and they are working quite well...

The only one who is stopping you, is YOU.

I hope you enjoyed the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.

Can't wait to go skiing...

Unless you prefer sitting around the PC grinding away.

I prefer taking play breaks and heading to the mountains is what I do to get away from it all, shut the phone off, strap some skiis on, and get to the very top of the mountain.

It clears the mind, at least mine it does, can't say what will work for you.

I do know however that in my experience, if I don't take time to work on me, my inner self, chaos eventually becomes the norm, then it's eventually the hamster wheel of fortune.

You know the wheel those cute little mice get on and run as fast as they can?

Yeah that one, and there's one specifically made for the human being, it may be invisible, but it is still there. Problem is, at least it has been for me, is once we're on it, running as fast as we can go, it just automatically becomes the norm, so we just keep doing it day after day after day.

That isn't what I came to planet Earth to create. Did You?

I don't know about you, but have you ever thought that all this running around, working for someone else, just getting by from paycheck to paycheck, isn't it all just a pile of bullshit?

I mean that's not what I thought when I was a kid. When I was a kid, anything was possible, and I was going to do it.

So what happened? Is this what growing up is all about?

No thanks, I'm gonna go ski and get my head screwed on right.

See you at the top of the mountain (unless it's snowing like today) then you probably won't be seeing much of anything.

Until next time,

Flavius Roscoe, "The pajama blogging ski bum"
